Things you will probably never hear at the CWP Office

If you ever have the opportunity to visit Canada Without Poverty’s small office in Ottawa, you will hear us talking about many things: the next Social and Economic Rights online course, the Model Federal Anti-Poverty Plan, an upcoming Blog post, what is happening with the Poverty Progress Profiles.  But there are certain things you will likely never hear.  Here is a sampling:

 “This office is just too big.”

“The Government is making it so easy to eliminate poverty this week, I think we should leave early for the weekend.”

“Man, that national media outlet gave us way too much air time last night.”

“I have too many donations to process today.  What are we going to do with all this extra money?”

“Hey, who scheduled the meetings with Trudeau, Mulcair, May, and Harper all at the same time?!”

 “Yes, Prime Minister I would be happy to fit you in this week to talk about Canada’s human rights obligations for people living in poverty. “
