Get Ready for #ChewOnThis 2015
#ChewOnThis is a little less than a month away and already over 40 communities across Canada have signed up, from St. John’s to Victoria and Whitehorse, communities from coast-to-coast-to-coast are taking part in the movement and joining us in the call for a national anti-poverty plan.
To mark this milestone we’ve released a short PSA about #ChewOnThis and updated our website, check it out below!
There are 4.8 million people across Canada having to face poverty daily, the time for a national anti-poverty plan is now. With the help of 600 organizations, Dignity for All has that plan. With your support, more people across Canada will be able to see it.
With every $11 (tax-deductible) donation we receive, that’s one more anti-poverty plan in the hands of policy makers, community leader and poverty activist. Why $11, you might ask? Because that is how much each plan costs us to, build, produce and print.
